Citibank Public Affairs issued the following statement regarding today's incident: "A large number of protesters entered our branch at 555 La Guardia Place around 2:00 PM today. They were very disruptive and refused to leave after being repeatedly asked, causing our staff to call 911. The Police asked the branch staff to close the branch until the protesters could be removed. Only one person asked to close an account and was accommodated."

Shame on you. Stop fooling them with paper. look at the small print.
WOW!! unbelievable that you have the audacity to even begin trying to justify this act! police literally lifted the woman onto the side of the building while all 5+ policemen forced her inside! unbelievable!!!!!! you will be losing many many many customers guaranteed and i'll see to that! this petty comment you just made on your side is no where near the compensation you need to make!
Just be prepared to put a little aside for bail when you close it down JB. No one leaves Citibank unpunished!
YOU GUYS ARE AS GOOD AS THE 4TH REICH!!!
I can't wait to see how the bankers survive after everybody pulls their money out!
I had nicked named you *****bank related to deification. Due to many issues I have had. I had put up with so much over the years and still didn't bother to change. You even asked me to stay because I was with you for so long. But you wouldn't help me when I asked for help. I have left for my local credit union and I have been 100% happy since then with my banking experience where I'm treated like a person and not by the amount deposited in my account. Once I can get my credit union to give me a CC to transfer my what I have on my Citicard I'll be closing that account too. I've now moved my mother's account to a credit union and urge my family an friends to do the same.
This was before this incident. Now I am very vocal with anyone I know is using you guys and I tell them my story and I show them this story. We will show you, by walking out your banks with our money. One of us won't hurt much. Hopefully when the rest of the 99% wake up. You'll remember this.

The one lady was outside - how can she have not left if she was OUTSIDE!!!!
I just love how people think video evidence always tells the truth! It's called editing. Before the video was posted on Youtube it was obviously edited and most likely they took out bits and pieces to make it seem as if the protesters could do no wrong.
WOW. I can't believe it could happened in my 2nd country. I ran away from communist in my country, came here with my dream to be free , and liberty . Ci ti Bank you are worst then COMMUNIST.
