The cornerstone of a new Citi: Responsible Finance.

Just do it Citi!
Citi is getting some positive press now. I ma sure it is a reflection of the good work citi has been doing. I have invested a lot in citi and have been part of the company all through the bad times. please think very carefully before a reverse split. I am not for it, and so are most of the share holders. I believe the board and Mr Pandit will do the best for us share holders. I congratulate Mr. PANDIT for the great Job he is doing and also containing Mr Mike Mayo.
UNTILRUMORS OF A SOON TO BE REVERSE SPLIT AROSE I HAD FAITH MR PANDIT WOULD PUT THOSE WHO HAVE STUCK BY CITI THOROUGH THE HARD LAST FEW YEARS ABOVE ALL ELSE. I HOPE MR PANDIT REALIZES THAT MANY HAVE PUT ALL THEIR FAITH IN HIM AND DO NOT WANT TO SEE CITI TAKE THE SAME ROAD DOWN AIG HAS TAKEN.
I URGE YOU TO CONTINUE TURNING CITI AROUND AND NOT DECIDE TO REVERSE SPLIT A COMPANY WITH MANY LOYAL FOLLOWERS.
Extremely happy to read that Citi is partnering with Calvert Foundation to invest in Micro Finance for socially responsible investing on this link: http://www.socialfunds.com/news/article.cgi?sfArticleId=2944
I believe in Citi. It is a strong organization and this change is much needed. I truly believe it will bounce back stronger than ever. Because of this, I changed my investment portfolio to 70% CIti and 30% others. That is how I strongly believe that CIti will emerge more successful than ever. GO CITI! Please don't let me down! I love our FREE MARKET system. PLEASE DON"T LET O and the D 's turn our country into something else. I don't want the government telling or restricting me from moving and deciding where I want my hard earned dollars to go. 'Hands off' government! Be there to enforce the law and regulations, be there as a big brother but please don't take control.
A well thought initiative. This reflects how intense your effort to get your glory back is.
The financial sector doesn't need innovation. That's just an overused biz-dev buzzword. Innovating and coming up with new financial products is what wrecked the system. Just hire more honest people who aren't so fixated on their own bonuses and shareholder value. If you have changed, show us how you're investing in small business and refinancing since we lent you a few billion dollars.
Thank you

It's clearly an image change effort. And why not, as long as it transforms the organizational DNA.
Citigroup is still too big to fail. Just ask John Reed.

My understanding is that after the reverse split, the Big Institutions should be coming in and pump up the stock price.
So what has gone wrong Mr. Pandit?
Please respond, Thank you...
Executing the reverse stock split and our intention to reinstate a quarterly common stock dividend are important steps as we anticipate returning capital to shareholders starting next year. Taken together, we believe these actions will reduce volatility while broadening the base of potential investors. Now that we have established consistent profitability, we are working towards our next goal of responsible growth.
